What are an Activist and Why Do They Act? What is an Activist? It has become a common question among different sectors of our society. To agency , an "activist" is a person who peacefully protests against something or someone. But the truth is, an activist is a person who is using protest as a tool to promote change. There are many types of activists and one of the most popular ones are the Teju Party. We will be talking about what exactly is Teju Party in this article. The Teju Party is basically a student movement from last spring called the Teju Youth Movement. However, it goes beyond that. Basically, the Teju Party means a bunch of students that use social media websites to talk about social issues and advocate for change. Most people view activists as being the ones that go out into the streets and disrupt things. This is not the case with the Teju Party. What the Teju Party is doing is coming up with different ways to raise funds for their cause. One of these ways is writing fundraising letters that tell their story and why they are fundraising. These fundraising letters are commonly known as teju adisa-farrar. Activists also do things that go beyond just making noise and participating in political demonstrations. In fact, there are some students from the Teju Party that go beyond just participating in protests. They have their own causes that they are passionate about. Some are concerned about issues that affect their country and culture. agency want to promote better education for all. What is the difference between an institutional investor and an activist investor? Well, an institutional investor is someone like a bank or a hedge fund manager who does not directly invest in a particular business. He keeps his investments in many businesses but with the same goal in mind. An activist investor on the other hand is someone who tries to get a certain group of people to invest in the business or make a change in the way that they do business. Usually, these investors are students, writers, and other individuals who are very passionate about their causes and goals. What is agency between what is an institutional investor and what is activist investing? The main difference is that the institutional investors are actually seeking profit instead of looking for gain as in the case of student activists. They will look at the overall profit of the company rather than the individual profits of each shareholder. With the rise of shareholder activism, institutions such as banks have been forced to be more cautious about the stocks that they put their money in. Activist investors on the other hand are only interested in putting their money into companies where they can see huge profits. In the case of public companies, investors do not really put their money in the businesses because of the sheer volume of regulations that they have to deal with. Activists are mainly students with an average age of around 20 years. Some of them may have already studied Social Psychology or other similar courses, which could explain the reason behind their activism. Teju Adisa-Farrar is a student who has taken up social justice as her career path and she has started blogging and participating on online forums as well as writing articles about it. As she stated herself "I am a part of the new generation that is trying to make change in the world" and she is an activist just like other students who are passionate about issues such as social injustice and environmental awareness. With the use of the internet, Teju has managed to turn her passion into profit as she is now selling books that talk about her experiences in activism and making profit through her online business. What is an activist? We cannot define what an activist is as we do not know what exactly drives these individuals to do the things that they do. However, one thing is for sure, we can observe their behavior and their actions and most of the time we would see the results of what they did. Whether the cause they are supporting is social justice, economic equality, animal rights, freedom of speech, animal rights, human rights, peace and diversity, or other similar causes, we can conclude that these activists have really put in some real effort in whatever way they can to further these causes. Activists are always reminded by what they have done to the world that matters and that they are appreciated.
